Just some of our beautiful miniature shetland ponies, Marley our own home-bred foal in the middle, Khaleesi the pretty blue dun on the left and Summer the very pale palomino on the right!

OUR LATEST ARRIVALS ON THE FARM!

In January we were very excited to collect our two reindeer calves Luna and Spirit. They were bred and have spent the first six months of their lives in the UK, this is far better than importing them at a young age from a colder climate... and of course they haven't suffered the trauma of a long journey.

They have joined Comet, our adult reindeer who took to them very quickly and all 3 girls get on well together.

See The Farm page for more information on our animals...

with table tennis, a football table and a range of traditional games

It can be cleared as a function room for family parties, Wedding Ceremonies and celebrations.

We look forward to welcoming you to Country Ways...

and sending you home relaxed and refreshed!

Country Ways is ideally located with Exmoor to the north and Dartmoor to the south. The beaches within a half an hour's drive are the best in the West Country with the lovely rocky coves and cliffs to the north and the long sandy surfing beaches to the west of us. There are also interesting wildlife beaches and beaches that are dog friendly all year round.

Country Ways - Nearest Towns

8 miles south of Barnstaple - the main town in the area with a very good shopping centre, cafes and pannier market.

10 miles west of South Molton - a farming town with an excellent farmers market on Thursday and plenty of antique and shabby chic shops!

7 miles east of Great Torrington - A small town with loads of history. Plenty of places to visit - Rosemoor, 1646 and Dartington Glass. Also lovely walks on the common and beside the river. Access to The Tarka Trail.
