Bringing your dogs on holiday
 Dogs
are welcome in all off peak-weeks as well as the peak weeks of
late June, early July and September. It is only in the main school
holidays that we don't accept dogs. We do however have a few
common-sense dos and don'ts.
Around the cottages, gardens and play area
we ask that your dog is on a lead or at heel. This is for the
sake of our younger visitors and our large ducks which occasionally
wonder down from the farmyard.
 Any
fouling near the cottages, gardens or on the play area should
be popped into a plastic bag and put in the bins.
We always have at least one field empty for you to excercise
your dog in freely in, without clearing up after it. There is
also our woodland to walk in, which most dogs love as it is full
of rabbit and squirrel smells!
Dogs are not allowed in the farmyard itself,
or in a field where there are animals. The cattle are so curious
that if a dog goes in their field they all come stampeding across,
frightening dog and owner!
 If
you want your dog to sit on the furniture just bring along a
doggy blanket to cover it.
We do ask you not to leave him/her alone in
the cottage as we have had several dogs which become very distressed
when left. The constant barking also disturbed other guests.
We have a limit of two dogs per cottage. (unless
they are very small in which case three dogs are acceptable.)
