North Devon - near Barnstaple, South Molton, Torrington Lovely gardens and grounds Incredibly peaceful Magnificent Views Complete Privacy The Corn Barn has wonderful views across the Devon countryside. Directly in front of the Corn Barn is a large decked area with plenty of seats and in front of that a lovely lawn. Hire the cottages and use the converted Corn Barn for the function. The self catering accommodation will sleep 27/35 guests. The function room will seat up to 50 people. The old stone barns have been beautifully converted to provide 6 cottages. It has a floor space of 4.5mx11.5m and will seat up to 50 guests depending on the seating arrangements. It is full of character with the old oak beams showing and even the remains of the threshing machine in the small kitchen area. When not being used as a function room we use the Corn Barn for a gym and fitness room.  How you decide to decorate the room is entirely up to you! The large french doors lead out onto the decking and lawns The views across the valley are wonderful. To the left of the lawn in front of the decking there is an area which can be used for marquees. Music can be played in marquees or outside up to 11.30pm. After this time it can carry on in the Corn Barn. We do ask that after 11.30pm volume could be a reasonable level as we do have neighbours in the adjacent farms! Outside in the play area there is already play equipment and large trampoline. Portable toilet hire for large weddings and parties Weddings - There are local registry offices at Barnstaple (01271 388455) and Bideford (01237 474978). The drive from Bideford is very pretty. Another possibility is to do the legal bit quietly at the registry office and then have the main ceremony in the Corn Barn or in the gardens.
